PERSONALITY
Like the personification of light, Luca is pretty much what one can imagine of a saint; a pacifist, calm demeanor, optimist, always seeing the best in everything and in every outcome. Luca is a radical empath, always knows what to say to people and knows how to comfort them, making him also an exceptional mentor, as he is able to encourage and motivate. He puts the needs of other people, and never does things for his pride.
But in the contrary, Luca doesn't do well with confrontation and conflict; he tends to avoid and remove himself without actually facing them. He is also naive, thinking the world is plain black and white -- good and bad, that he becomes vulnerable even to slightest discomfort from someone he loves, considering them all as betrayal. Since he sees everything as black and white, he is also very destructive to himself when he is making a mistake, and it makes it hard for him to accept his fault and forgive himself for it.

BACKGROUND STORY

Luca Ashveil remembers his life starting at church;
People kept telling him he just suddenly appeared there in one of the pews as the little boy, all alone. The priest took him in and took care of him. Letting him sleep in one of the rooms, letting him clean, feeding him. He grew up kind and thoughtful, something you would expect from a child who's being taken care of so gently. For a while, he became a deacon, right hand to the priest.
But war doesn't discriminate: it took everything from everyone.Luca remembered clearly of that day, a day where the sun didn't seem to shine at all. How when he looked up, all he could see was the ceiling of the church slowly turning into ruins. He remembered seeing his father laid on the church cobble floor under a stone, his head was bleeding and he wasn't breathing and nothing Luca could do at that moment.The boy remembered stepping outside the building where he thought he would be safe in. Seeing all the corpses on the ground--children, men, women--as if they were decoration of a war. He remembered being sick of hearing all the cries and screams, but despite doing anything, he could not shield his ears from hearing all of them.The nights felt endless.But tragedy had its way to teach him a lesson.
